It’s been a rough couple of weeks. New dog who dislikes my cats makes things touchy. The Bengals loss in the playoffs was tough, too. I’ve managed.
Here are the Honorable Mentions:
“…production is just not there…”
Production of what?
“…takes someone out you didn’t expect…”
Out of where? Details?
“…Waddle helped off. Replaced by Fox…”
Okay, this one isn’t really dirty, but it brought to mind a vision of an orgy and someone getting tired or a conga line without clothes.
Now it’s time for the quotes of the week. You don’t want to miss these.
“…one of the rare first times we’ve seen him take off…”
Because normally he doesn’t take off. He sticks it out.
“…put it in the right hand of Rodgers and he put it in the left of Nelson…”
Sure makes him sound like he’s freaking huge!
“…Gets his slot man back…”
Now that’s a happy pairing.
“…pressure in his face and then he delivers a blow…”
Well…some people don’t like pressure on the face.
“…what a shot on him!”
This is where pictures are good.
“…He’s been huge—he has been monstrous…”
So he must be the guy hanging out with Nelson and Rodgers.
And now for the doozy of the week. It doesn’t sound as bad as it could be, but it’s funny as heck.
“…pretty good until it mattered most…”
Now isn’t that sweet? They gave him a compliment. Snicker. What for? Well, you’ll have to decide.
Thanks for reading. There will be more quotes this week. Can’t not use what I’ve collected. Here’s to a great 2014-2015 Bengals season.
