Monday Morning Armchair Quarterback - WEEK SEVENTEEN (a little late)

Week Seventeen...where’d you go...? Seems like we were just beginning the season and now we’re right from the end. The win versus the Vikings was nice. 10-5 isn’t shabby, either.

Now, let’s get to those Honorable Mentions!

“...They don’t care they’ve got nine men in the pocket...”
Crap! That’s a stretched out pocket.

“...pass could not be defended by Bush...”
Maybe she wanted it?

“...more drops than any....”
He’s on a losing streak. It happens.

And now for the Quotes of the Week. Some of these are real winners.

“...huge for him...”
Um... does he have interchangeables?

“...longest active losing streak....”
Yep, it’s a serious problem.

“...in the slot to the right...”
Maybe that’s the hot spot? Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.

“...traditional tight end position...”
Traditional is good. Very good.

“....Secure to the edge...”
Safety first. Always good.

“....working on the hand off to Nicks...”
She gets passed around. Nice.

Now for the Doozy of the Week. This was said on national television and I still can’t believe it.
“...One guy strips ‘em and one recovers it....”
Hey, they’ve got a game plan. Can’t knock that.

The Vikings were a good foe. We came, we saw, we goofed a little and we won. Now it’s off to TACKLE the Ravens.  Who Dey!

Thanks for reading and Go Bengals!!
