WIP Thursday on Friday!

I'm hanging out over at the Menagerie Today, but first I thought I'd post the WIP Thursday post today. If you haven't commented on the Angels and Demons post yesterday, make sure you do. It's totally worth it!

So what's been happening and what's on the agenda. Grin. Lots!

I turned in the next Glow book, Wild Flower. It's still very paranormal, and very hot. In fact, there's a second story coming out of this one, too. A cousin who happens to be a wolf shifter wants his story told. Who am I to tell him otherwise? I'll keep you posted as to when Wild Flower comes out. Should be August from Changeling.

Speaking of sequels, I've got a Razor's Edge story coming out sometime soon called, Make Me. It's part of my Challenge Me series. The sequel, Show Me has been turned in and a third story, Take Me has been outlined as you read this. They are short stories, but packed with heat. Grin.

I keep saying I'm working on Tiger Lily's story from Forever Wicked: Always. I am, but I've had a couple of things that needed to go first. Call me quirky. Up first, my other Forever Wicked title, Strong Hans, which is tentatively being titled, Savage Protector. The guy wields a big hammer. Grin. That's happening first.

Then I've been given a task. Yes, a throw down. Stephanie Burke found a photo and she's tossed down the challenge. I'm rising to meet the challenge. There's no mistaking I love racing. Very much so. She's thrown down the idea, with the egging on of Cheryl Dragon, of me writing a paramedic and a NASCAR driver. Something in the MMF category. Grin. I'm so there. Want to see the picture? Sure!

I'll get back to Tiger Lily. Can't forget her. But a throw down is a throw down. Grin. I'm off to work on what's in the works and to attempt to make headway on stuff. Check out the Menagerie post, don't forget to vote for a hottie of the first half of the year, to comment on my Angels and Demons post, and to check out the hottie for tomorrow. Never a dull moment here!

Angels and Demons Coming Around!

We're talking about Angels and Demons for this blog hop and I thought for my part of the hop I'd share my Angel story that has a demon in it for flavor. Fallen is my contribution to the Angel realm. Here's a little bit about it and where you can get a copy.

Livia was cast out of heaven for the crime of falling in love with a human. So what's a fallen angel to do when she meets the man of her dreams? Falling certainly has its perks.

Ty didn't expect the angel at his party to be fallen or to have a murky past. He also didn't expect her to end up in his arms. Now he's not about to let the past stand in the way of their future.

Get your copy here!

Here's a little taste from Fallen

“The man you fell for was foolish. He lost out and I’m damned glad.” Ty cupped her jaw. “This probably sounds like another lame-ass pick-up line, but I don’t want to fuck up my chance by making you think I want a quickie. I want so much more.”

“You do?”

“Absolutely.” Ty closed his eyes and lowered his lips to hers.

The moment his mouth fastened onto hers, Livia’s knees went weak. She clutched his shirt and nibbled on his bottom lip. Sizzles flew along her nerve endings, and more cream coated her panties. She ground her core against his thigh, not caring if anyone saw her acting so forward. This kiss was too good to waste with good manners.

Ty held her tight in the crook of his arm and stroked the top edge of her wing with the fingers of his other hand. “Does touching your wings turn you on as much as I think it does? Does wonders for me.”

God, she couldn’t fall from grace all over again, but she could fall in love, couldn’t she? In theory anyone could fall in love, including her. Why was that thought so damned scary? Because being vulnerable wasn’t a place she liked to be unless it was her idea. And what about when he learned what she liked when she made love? Some guys couldn’t handle it.

“Livia? I’m not being kind because I want in your pants.” He rubbed his thumb along her chin. “I do very much want to make love to you, but I’d like to get to know you, too. You snagged my attention the moment you walked in the history building and smiled. Now you’re here where I never expected to see you, but I’m dead serious when I said I don’t want to look anywhere else.”

“Have you had too much to drink, or was the change in altitude too much too fast?”

Did you like? I hope so. Get your copy here! Grin.

And now for the part you've been waiting for... This is for the WHOLE HOP: ONE winner gets a Kindle Touch & ONE winner gets a $60 Amazon or Barnes&Noble Gift Card. You HAVE to leave your name and email so we can get in touch with you.

If you want to win something from MY part of the hop, you're going to have to do some work. I'm a task master, what can I say?

So what do you have to do? Leave a comment. Which book is your fave angel/demon story so far? Tell me why. Then leave your name and email so I can contact you if you win and you're in the hat for a copy of Fallen! I'd love for you to follow me on Facebook, follow my blog, and to follow me on Twitter, or you can sign up for my newsletter in the box on the left.

The contest ends July 1st at midnight, so act now. I'll announce the winner right here on the blog on July 2nd as well as I'll email the winner!

I'll bet, now that you've read the post and commented, you want to follow the rest of the tour? I thought you might. Grin. Here's the link for the rest of the hop:

Love doesn’t always happen according to plan.

Some guys have all the luck and some guys love the pain. Slash Gunderson knows that feeling well. His place behind the drums for Glow is a dream come true. Can he accept his need for kink and the man who makes his heart beat?

Hiram Moline loves his job as the head of security for Glow. He’s also in love with Slash. There’s one major glitch -- someone has been sending Slash threatening letters. Hiram’s not about to let anything happen to Slash. Can he convince Slash they’ve got something strong before the stalker gets the upper hand?

And now for that snog!

Hiram pressed Leo against the bathroom door and kissed the response from his mouth. Leo fought him for a moment, then softened beneath Hiram. He groaned and wrapped his arms around Hiram. Hiram groaned, and his cock twitched behind his zipper. Now this, being tangled up with Leo, this was what he needed. He rocked his hips, grinding his dick against Leo’s. The fame, the makeup, the image, none of it mattered to Hiram. He’d been delicate about his feelings for Leo. Maybe it was time to be blunt.

Hiram broke the kiss first. “Love the way you taste.” He brushed his nose against Leo’s. “I like to look at you, not that crap on your face. There’s a sexy man underneath all that stuff, and he turns me on.”

Leo shrank away from Hiram. “But this is me. I’m a wild child. If you can’t handle who I am, then this won’t work.”

Well, fuck in a basket. The little shit. Hiram growled. “I don’t want to change you, Leo. I like the piercings and the crazy hair. The eyeliner is hot as hell, but sometimes I want to just see you.”

WIP Thursday

What's happening? Today is the release day for Here Without You . I'm really excited about the book and hope you are too. Hiram and Slash finally have their story. Grin. Grab your copy today!

For those interested in the Glow band and their fans, I've turned in my first werewolf story which is really a wolf shifter who happens to own the label Glow is on. Yep. So this is a Glow Kid book. It was fun to write and I hope you enjoy it too.

I turned in a story for Razor's Edge Press which I've decided is part of a new loose series. So far it's called the Challenge series. Make Me revolves around a challenge and a strand of pearls. The one I'm working on right now is tentatively titled, Show Me - another challenge, but this time with a length of silk fabric. There will be a third short story in the series, just haven't started it yet. Grin.

Okay, so not much else right now. Who knows. I may wake up tomorrow with a ton of stories in my head. Might end up watching a movie instead. Whichever. Grin. Get your copy of Here Without You and let me know what you think!

Sunday Snoggin' with The Air I Breathe

It's Sunday Snoggin' Time again and thanks to Victoria Blisse for having such a fun thing to post on Sundays. Click the banner above or right here to get to the other posts. But first, read mine. Grin. What's my snog? Just a fun little kiss from The Air I Breathe. The Glow Band books never fail to hit the hot spot with me. Hope they do with you, too!

The Air I Breathe Changeling Press M/M, Shibari, Anal sex, BDSM, Spanking, Short Story Available here!

And now for that snog!

“I don’t know how you do this, but you make me so crazy.” Luc groaned and thrust his fingers into Tay’s hair, tugging him closer. “I can feel you inside me, like this is how it’s supposed to be -- one heart, one deep love. There’s no one else in the world, just us.” Gentle nibbles turned to rough kisses. Luc thrust his tongue in and out of Tay’s mouth as if they were having sex.

Tay sighed. He loved how Luc’s words worked perfectly for song lyrics. The curtains flapped, and the ends of the towel flipped over. Cups fell off the counter with a melodic plink, plink, plink. Tay wrapped his legs tighter around Luc and whimpered. He needed this -- needed the domination with a sprinkle of pain, needed to know where he belonged and just how much he meant to Lucien, needed the words of love. Goddess, he felt like he’d been set free. He kissed Luc with renewed vigor.

“My element loves you,” he breathed. “I love you. Always have.”

Luc leaned back a moment and simply smiled at Tay. “There’s the guy I know.”

Although Luc hadn’t returned the sentiment, Tay’s confidence soared. Things weren’t certain, but for the first time in a long time he felt like he’d come home.

More strokes, higher power… Tay shivered. The orgasm built low in his belly. No more thinking, just feeling. He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. “Luc.”

Luc grunted and pressed his forehead against Tay’s. “God, yes.”

Both bodies writhed and splashed water. Tay’s muscles went taut then turned to jelly.v He moaned. “I love you, Luc.” Tay closed his eyes, relinquished Luc’s penis and dug his fingers into Luc’s hips. “I love you, I love you, I love you.”

WIP Thursday!

It's WIP Thursday and I've got a few things to share. A few. A friend of mine said if I didn't stop the manic pace at which I've been writing I'll burn out. I don't want to admit she's right, mostly because that would mean I'd be arguing with characters who literally keep me awake at night telling me their stories. But in a way she is. Those characters who won't shut up are the ones making it hard to sleep. Yep. My brain is too full. I'm not complaining. Far from it. Just saying, I'm pooped.

So what's coming up for me?

Next week my fourth Glow book comes out. Here Without You will be available for your reading pleasure. Here's a little bit about the book and an excerpt because I'm feeling nice. Grin.

EXCERPT TIME!!!

“You don’t get it.” Hiram shifted his weight and moved his hands to Leo’s thighs.

“There are so many facets of Leo that you don’t see. I do. I see them. You think we just fuck… it’s more than that to me. You’ve got a strength I admire.”

Not five minutes earlier, Hiram had wanted to give Slash a swift kick in the ass. Now he saw the scared side of Leo. He wanted to kiss him and make things better, then give him a clap upside the head for being so thick. “I don’t do emotional. You know that. But you bring out something in me that wants to protect you.”

“You’re the security figure. You protect all of us. I’d be shocked if you didn’t.”

Hiram gritted his teeth. The man would be the death of him. “Come on. Let’s wash all that shit off you.” Hiram tugged Leo off the counter and led him to the bathroom. “I can’t talk to you when you’re smeared.”

“You don’t like…”

Hiram pressed Leo against the bathroom door and kissed the response from his mouth. Leo fought him for a moment, then softened beneath Hiram. He groaned and wrapped his arms around Hiram. Hiram groaned, and his cock twitched behind his zipper. Now this, being tangled up with Leo, this was what he needed. He rocked his hips, grinding his dick against Leo’s. Phew! Talk about hot...yeah I like those men. So what else is happening? I've got the wolfie story that is a Glow Kid book 3/4 of the way done. I'm actually pretty excited about that. Moving on to Strong Hans next. MM yumminess. The next up is slated to be Tiger Lily's story. That's the plan anyway. With all that said, it's time for me to head to the bat cave. 3/4 isn't 4/4 and I'd like to get wolfie done soon. Enjoy and let me know what you think of the books!

The Cover Faery Visited!!

The cover faery aka Renee George stopped by and left me with a fantastic cover for Here Without You. This is the fourth of the Glow books and the first without an elemental as a protagonist. The fun part about the cover is Slash totally evokes the over-the-top punkiness of the band. Renee captured what I wanted so well.

Here's the cover and the blurb! Check it out!

Sunday Snog ~ Wrapped Around

It's Sunday Snoggin' Time again and thanks to Victoria Blisse for having such a fun thing to post on Sundays. Click the banner above or right here to get to the other posts. But first, read mine. Grin. What's my snog? Just a fun little kiss from Wrapped Around. Yes, it's a Christmas story, but in this heat, a little ice and peppermint really hits the spot.

White Hot Christmas: Wrapped Around Changeling Press M/M, Holiday, Shibari, Anal sex, BDSM, Spanking, Short Story Available here!

Luc loves his role fronting the band Glow. He loves the adoration of the fans, the energy in the crowd, but it's Christmas. No one likes a Christmas alone.

Taygan's free spirit resists taming -- except when it comes to Luc. Luc's one hundred percent human. Taygan is all air elemental. He needs his space and freedom, but he'll do whatever it takes to make Luc happy, including giving up his space and freedom to make Luc's holiday one he'll never forget -- complete with the real Santa, peppermint candy, and lots of hot sex!

And now for that snog!!

“Santa brought what I wanted.” Tears burned behind his eyes. “Don’t know how he knew, but he did.” Just don’t leave again.

“Are you glad?”

Luc shook his head. “Glad? I’m stupefied. I thought you were in Alaska learning to crab fish or whatever it was you were doing.”

“I learned. Sort of.” Tay shrugged. He’d have to work his ass off to make Luc see he wasn’t back on a fluke or because he got bored. “I got lonely and realized my element isn’t the only beacon in my life. I want to be wherever you are.”

“But --”

Tay couldn’t help himself and bridged the gap between them. He placed the box in Luc’s hands and pressed a kiss to his lips. The scratch of Luc’s stubble bit into Tay’s cheek, and he loved every moment of it. He licked the seam of Luc’s mouth, needing more from Luc. Luc tensed, then placed his hand on Tay’s hip, drawing him closer. He sighed, allowing Tay deeper. Taygan groaned. Luc tasted of man, spice and sweat, the perfect combination.

Luc broke the kiss first. “Need you.”

Shameless Summer and You!

Thanks to Jen at Red Hot Books, Brie at Romance Around the Corner & Michelle at Michelle's Book Blog for putting this on. Visit them if you don't already!

This shameless summer hop celebrates those white hot books that are favorites. You know, the ones that require a fan and a glass of something chilly when reading. As you can see above, the book I chose is one of my first. Believe. It's a story of coming home, realizing that trust is the thing, and loving even when it seems to hard to be done. I'm writing a prequel for this story and can't wait to get going on it. Raylan and Chase are two of my favorites. I hope you enjoy them, too.

Raylan believed himself unworthy of love until he met Chase. Chase brought out Raylan’s natural need to control and the power to force submission. But time and distance make having a relationship hard. Can Raylan prove to Chase they have what it takes for love to last through this Christmas and every other Christmas for the rest of their lives?

Chase found the muse for his songs in Raylan. Each time they touch, kiss, make love, music fills his soul. But working odd gigs to make ends meet while Raylan photographs rock and roll royalty isn’t beneficial to Chase’s creativity. Can he convince Raylan they’re better off together than apart?

So what do you have to do? Leave a comment. Which book is your fave so far? Tell me why. Then leave your name and email so I can contact you if you win and you're in the hat for a copy of Believe! I won't lie. I'd love for you to follow me on Facebook, follow my blog, and to follow me on Twitter, or you can sign up for my newsletter. Joining, friending, following isn't expected. Do that because you want to. It's not mandatory to win. The contest ends June 15th at midnight, so act now. I'll announce the winner right here on the blog on June 16th as well as I'll email the winner!

I'll bet, now that you've read the post and commented, you want to follow the rest of the tour? I thought you might. Grin. Here's the link for the rest of the hop:

Not Quite WIP Thurs and NSFW

I was going to write a WIP Thursday blog, but I came across this and it reminded me of more than one love scene I'd written. I like Ian Somerhalder, but this frantic, gotta-have-it-right-now, sex is hot! Yum!

Lori Foster Reader and Author Get Together

Okay, so actually I was going to call this post what I did on my weekend vacation but that didn't sound nearly as cool. Shrug. Most of the time, I don't sound cool.

The Lori Foster Reader and Author Event is one of the premier events to attend. Why? Because it's like hanging out with a ton of your favorite girlfriends who also happen to be authors. Yes. And it rocks. It's very PG rated, but really, do you NEED to have X rated all the time? Nah.

I left early on Thursday because I wanted to be there in time to put my stuff in the goody bags on Friday. Let me tell you. It was worth it, but man there was a LOT in those bags. Took the 20 or so folks (including me) about 3 hours to fill 500 or so bags. Yeah, that's a lot of bags. What was in there? Bookmarks, chap sticks, book thongs, lots of post cards, post-it notes, book samplers, print books (yes, I said print books), candy... all that.

I don't have a picture of it, but imagine two women-one wanting to eat lunch, both more than a little tired (already), trying to figure out how to get to the Quiznos. I love Quiznos, BTW. Needless to say, we missed a turn, ended up across the freeway, and Linda McMaken and I had a freaking blast. We ended up at the Steak 'n' Shake where I swear she got the world's largest tea. But it was worth it.

Somehow I ended up on the Welcoming Committee, which was so much fun, with Donna MacMeans, Desiree Holt, Keri Stevens, and a couple other ladies whose names (sadly) I've forgotten (sad because I loved working with them). We were instructed by Donna to pass out "virgin beads". Grin. Beads for those who were new to the con this past year. So I was one of the shouting people. "Who is the virgin? I want you! I want YOUR virginity!" Grin. I was very popular. Got a lot of blushes, too.

On a side note, I took part in the raffle for One Way Farm (check that out, if you haven't already - it's an awesome thing they do). I put tickets in for the Donna MacMeans basket. Why? There was a bottle of wine with her book cover on it in there. And guess what? I won!!!! I wasn't smart enough to take a pic of the basket before I dismantled it. Meh. I was excited. Grin.

I then took part in the massive epub/POD/digital signing. Talk about the company of fantastic people! Kaenar Langford, JA Saare, Desiree Holt, Dana Marie Bell, Christina Wolfer, yeah, there was some great talent there.

I have no idea what time I finally calmed down Friday night, but I happily went to my room with my Signed copy of Archeron. Yeah, the Sherrilyn Kenyon book. I went to sleep a happy girl.

What did Saturday entail? Lots! I hung out with Stephanie 'Flash' Burke, D Renee Bagby, Cheryl Dragon, Brannan Black, Camille Anthony, Drea Beacraft, Desiree Holt, Renee Vincent, the ladies of Turquoise Morning Press, Kelli Collins from Ellora's Cave, Moni Draper from Liquid Silver Books, my dear friend, Linda McMacken, as well as the Ladies of Book Obsessed Chicks.

I did some pitching, some freaking out (try pitching to seven people. kinda scary), had some supper, listening to everyone else win prizes, donned a cowboy hat, cracked up with Flash and D Renee, and the BOC. Yeah, it was worth it.

One of the best parts of the night had to be when I hung out with Virg Nelson. Started out talking at the cowboy party. We chatted at the table, moved to the atrium still talking, I kind of did another pitch (yeah, not sure how that happened), ended up hanging out outside with Gayle Donnelly and Robyn Mackenzie, Lydia Michaels and Erin McCarthy. Yeah, fangirl moment. Jennifer Mathis was out there, too and we had a blast. Talked necromancers, vampires, and racing books. Oh and Amish Vampires. Yes, it was eclectic. I know it was after midnight when I finally crashed. Well after midnight.

The next morning I was mistaken for Anne Rainey and saw a charcoal truck overturn. All in all, it was a good time.

Oh and I made a total fool of myself, but what's new? I'll leave you with that photo. Grin.

Sunday Snoggin' with the Men from Permanent

This week's Sunday Snog is from Permanent. This was an emotional story for me because of the things River endured. I hope you enjoy the book, too. Here's a snog from River and Tory.

Available here!

Here's that snog!

Crimson spread over River’s cheeks. The muscles in his jaw tensed. “Make love to me, Tory. Please?”

“Yes.” Tory inched away from River long enough to rummage through the nightstand. “You’ve taken care of me. Let me learn you.” He tossed condoms and a bottle of lube onto the bed. “I did some hoping of my own.”

River’s eyes widened as Tory settled on his knees between River’s thighs. Tory ran his tongue along River’s sternum. River sighed and his gaze switched between the bed and Tory. “I didn’t know.”

“I don’t like to flaunt my sexuality…even though I’ve been with more than my share of men and women.” Tory slithered up River’s body. He stood and threaded his fingers behind River’s head. “And then a certain man with a penchant for charcoal dust and expensive handmade paper cemented things in my mind.” Fusing their lips, he tasted River and tangled their tongues in a sensual dance he never wanted to end. River’s fingers bit into Tory’s hips. Tory shivered. The feel of skin on skin, cock against cock, kicked his lust into another orbit. He grabbed River’s hand and wrapped it around his dick. He broke the kiss with a gasp. “Damn, that feels good.”

Friday Fun with Megan!

Thought Since I'm out of Town, I'd leave you today with some yummy man candy from the Movies!

Yes, I liked Will Ferrell in this movie. Stranger Than Fiction rocked.

Murdoch ROCKED!!!

Few things in live better than Gerard Butler in a Loin cloth. Just sayin'

Except four hot guys in very little clothing. Yep, you know where this is going.

Enjoy! And don't forget to head over to the Menagerie next. I've got a poll going about Heroes and their cars. Check it out!
