Candy Cane Kink!

It's the time of year for kisses, hugs, presents and Kink! To celebrate the season, I'm sharing an excerpt from my latest release, Christmas Glow. And for kicks, you can win a copy of Wrapped Around, my first Christmas novella!

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Here's a white hot excerpt from Christmas Glow. You can get your copy here!

Nitro clicked the keys to log out of the chat site. She hadn't showed. He'd waited for more than three hours for her. His dream girl. How crazy was that? She liked the same bands, could argue sports with ease and still fill out a miniskirt like no one's business. She'd snagged him with her name. Pixie. He loved the sound on his lips. What would it feel like to run his fingers through her dark hair or kiss her until she melted in his arms?

If his intuition proved right, being with her would be heaven on Earth. He glanced at the blackened screen once more. "Where are you, Pix?"

Not in the chat window. She'd mentioned something about working on Christmas Eve. Maybe that was the case. Hell if he knew. He closed the computer screen and rested his elbows on his knees. The last time he'd checked the clock, the time read just after five. Lots of folks worked until practically midnight on Christmas Eve. If he'd scored tickets to the Glow concert, he could've been there. No. He wanted to chat with his girl. To listen to her talk him into a frenzy. He palmed his crotch. Damn, she had a hold on him. He looked forward to the times they chatted and let things go too far. She embodied his vision of sex and sin. But she was an elf.

He had to be losing his mind. Who fell in love with elves? Part of him didn't want to admit the magical creatures existed. Sure, he'd heard rumors that Glow had elementals in the band, but elves? Next thing he knew there would be wolves and vampires roaming around. Besides, if Pixie was indeed an elf, then she was darned tall. He frowned and leaned back in his seat. How the hell should he know what an elf looked like? Children's books?

Nitro sighed. The sad little Christmas tree sat on the table like a tiny, multicolored lump. Too many lights on too little a tree. At least he had snow. He climbed out of the chair and stared out his apartment window. Tiny flakes of snow collected on the fire escape in puffs.

Something behind him clicked. He leaned back enough to check the computer screen. Still black. Then what the hell had clicked? He turned around. Nothing seemed out of place. Same tree, same fake snow encircling it. The clicking returned.

Nitro tipped his head. The clock? Nah, the clock had never been that loud. He crept to the apartment door. Someone leaving a Christmas card?

"He's probably not here," came a voice from on the other side of the door. Female, if Nitro had to guess, and darned familiar. Pixie? At his apartment? No freaking way. "You aren't trying hard enough. Don't you believe?" The male voice he couldn't place. "What's the hold-up?"

"I'm scared. What if he's not really interested? He could've lied."

Nitro placed his hand on the door. His other hand shook as he leaned forward to peek through the peephole. Sure enough, a raven-haired woman stood outside his door with someone else. His Pixie. He'd know her figure anywhere, but the guy? Nitro shook his head. Couldn't be. He looked again. Santa?

"He's not here." Pixie nodded. "He's with family or something."

What the hell was he waiting for? Nitro unlocked the door and practically yanked it off the hinges. "Pix?"

Pixie shoved a lock of hair from her eyes. "Nitro. Merry Christmas."

Whew! Now that you've read that, here's the prize! Comment with your name, email and something about the excerpt and you can win a copy of Wrapped Around. Yep, it's easy! Now comment, go forth and keep hopping! Merry Christmas!!
