WIP Thursday!!

I'm so far behind today I can see my behind. Isn't that the case often, though? Going to be a rather rambling list. I finished edits on my June release, Here Without You and turned in an Encounter for the same story, entitled, Here Without You: Scenes from a Hotel Room. It's sex. Plain and simple. Grin.

My story posted this past week on the MM Goodreads Group page. You can read it here if you'd like. It's called Bed of My Chevy. I thought it was cute and simple, but I'd love to know what you think.

I've got a couple more irons in the fire, but since none are firm (wow, bad pun), no details yet. I'll get back to you.

Don't forget to check out the Love Hangover Contest - you could win a GC to Changeling (big GC) and if you're in the Cincinnati area on Friday, (West Chester area) come see me. I'll be at the Lori Foster Reader/Author Get Together signing autographs. Grin.

Back to the bat cave. Na na na na na na na na na na BAT CAVE!!!!

Sunday Snoggin' With The Boys From Believe

I love a good snog with two hot guys. Nothin' better. For this weeks Sunday Snog, I'd like to share a snippet from Believe with you.
M/M, Christmas, Anal sex, shibari, BDSM
Available from Liquid Silver Books

Raylan believed himself unworthy of love until he met Chase. Chase brought out Raylan’s natural need to control and the power to force submission. But time and distance make having a relationship hard. Can Raylan prove to Chase they have what it takes for love to last through this Christmas and every other Christmas for the rest of their lives?

Chase found the muse for his songs in Raylan. Each time they touch, kiss, make love, music fills his soul. But working odd gigs to make ends meet while Raylan photographs rock and roll royalty isn’t beneficial to Chase’s creativity. Can he convince Raylan they’re better off together than apart?

And now for that snog!! Chase folded his arms. The tree wasn’t exactly full or decorated very well. A professional would more than likely faint if they saw the crinkled limbs and snarled needles on the second-hand tree. The sad strand of twinkle lights engulfed the two-foot fake pine. The star caused the tree to bow to the right, and the two ornaments didn’t fit on the miniscule branches. Adding candy canes would probably send it the rest of the way over. He cocked his head. “Raylan?”

Raylan eased up behind him, wrapping his arms around Chase and nudging Chase’s ass with his cock. “It’s cute. Not quite what’s expected and a little lopsided, but who needs stale perfection when originality is so much better? I love it. Besides, our originality could be the next big thing in holiday décor. You never know.”

“I don’t know if I want to share.” Chase rested his head on Raylan’s shoulder. “I’ve missed you.”

“Mmm,” Raylan murmured and licked a path of fire along Chase’s neck. “I couldn’t wait to get home. Christmas isn’t any fun alone.”

Groaning, Chase ground his ass into Raylan’s erection. His loins ached. He needed to feel Raylan’s tenderly tough touch. As punishment? Not in the truest sense. He needed to feel wanted and sexy. He turned around in Raylan’s embrace and worked the row of buttons bisecting Raylan’s dress shirt.

“Let me take care of you.” Chase sank to his knees and stared up at Raylan. “Let me remind you what’s here at home.” Chase folded his hands behind his back, waiting for Raylan’s permission to take the initiative. When he felt the touch of a warm hand on his head, Chase took a deep breath, drawing in Raylan’s scent as he kissed Raylan’s cock through his jeans. The motion felt dirty and out of his element and completely sexy.

“Merry Christmas to me,” he groaned and flicked his tongue over the blunt end of Raylan’s prick.

“Oh Chase.” Raylan forked his fingers into Chase’s short hair, tugging the strands.

He moaned, and his hips bucked. Almost as soon as the action started, Raylan stopped.

WIP Thursday ~ ON Time!!!

I know you're shocked. I'm getting my stuff together and managed to post this on time. I'm pretty proud of myself, actually.

So what's on the menu these days? Plenty.

Here Without You releases next month. It's the fourth of the Glow band books. Hiram and Slash get to tell their story. Here's the blurb:

Love doesn't always happen according to plan.

Some guys have all the luck and some guys love the pain. Slash Gunderson knows that feeling well. His place behind the drums for Glow is a dream come true. Can he accept his need for kink and the man who makes his heart beat?

Hiram Moline loves his job as the head of security for Glow. He's also in love with Slash. There's one major glitch -- someone has been sending Slash threatening letters. Hiram's not about to let anything happen to Slash. Can he convince Slash they've got something strong or will the stalker get the upper hand?

I'm really excited about it coming out.

What's up next?

The wolf story. Yep. I'm writing a wolf. He's next. It's a spin-off of the Glow books. Can't let those crazy characters go.

I'm trying to pace myself a bit, but sometimes it's hard.

Anyway, I'm heading out to work on the wolfie.

If you haven't checked out the Love Hangover Contest, you should. It's very cool. :-)

Sunday Snoggin' With Zac and Atria

Sunday Snoggin' is one of my favorite times of the week. Why? Hot Kisses and Excerpts, that's why! Always so much fun! So what do I have up here for a snog? Why an excerpt fromFire Woman (and yes, that is the Cult in my head, why do you ask?). Why don't you read along!

Contemp, paranormal, m/f
Glow Book One
Available here from Changeling Press!

She's everything he needs...if he can withstand the burn! Atria Moline isn't your average photographer. She controls fire. Sounds fun, being able to scorch whenever you like? Think again. She's lonely and desperate for the touch of the man who can dance in her flame -- if she doesn't immolate him first.

Zac "Iceman" Frost controls the stage with his band Glow. He's not about to back down from Atria's challenge. He's got secrets of his own and his sights set on her.

She slapped again. “Hate you!”

Firm hands grasped her wrists. “Attie.”

Blinking, she took in the room around her. Instead of the cloudy, gray muddle of her dream, the bedroom became clearer. Chocolate brown walls ringed with stark white baseboards. A gigantic mirror filled the space above the bed. A shadow blocked the light from the lamp.

Zac. She touched the outline of her palm print on his cheek. Embarrassment and shame filled her brain. Of all the people to try to harm her, he wasn’t one of them.

“You’ve got one hell of a right hook when you want to get a guy’s attention.”

She forced a snort. “Yeah.”

“Did you dream about him? Like we were… about to make love, but he showed up?” He grasped her palm and kissed the tender skin. “Would you hate me if I said I wanted to?”

“Make love? Now?” she whispered. Yes, she wanted to know every square inch of his body and feel him moving within her. Niccolo and his stupid commands be damned.

Propped on one elbow, Zac cradled her body tight against his and rubbed his nose along her cheek. “I’ve wanted to kiss you since the moment Luc brought you to the studio.”

“Me?” Her voice squeaked. Great. Way to sound confident. With him so close, she saw not only the blue in his eyes, but the rings of azure blending with white streaks along his pupil. A girl could get lost in such a brilliant palette of color. “That’s why I brought you to my most sacred place. The dog likes you, I’m hooked on you. Works for me, now kiss me.” Zac blotted out any response she could come up with and lowered his lips to hers. She opened to him, licking along his bottom lip and tangling her tongue with his.

“Lay back,” he murmured.

Atria did as he asked, but she didn’t take her gaze off him. The whole scene, him there with her, him interested in her -- it had to be a dream. “Zac?”

“Hush.” Kisses fluttered along her inner thigh. “Enjoy.”

Because We Are All Equal

I'm so glad you stopped by the blog for the Hop Against Homophobia! If you're like me, you'd like to see everyone treated equally and have the right to do what they want - like get married. If you're on the fence, take some time to really read the posts and think about your stance.

What are my thoughts on homophobia? According to the all mighty Wikipedia: Homophobia is observable in critical and hostile behavior such as discrimination and violence on the basis of a non-heterosexual orientation.

I look at it this way. I'm a girl with blue hair and a few piercings. No tats because I don't know what I want permanently on me, but I have no aversion to them. I write erotic works and read whatever I can get my hands on. I like my kink. I don't want to be judged because of the way I look or who I love. I don't think anyone should be judged that way--be it black, white, green, purple, gay, lesbian, or transgender... Why? We love who we love and we look the way that makes us feel good about ourselves. Doesn't everyone deserve that right? I think so.

I have a family member who came out a few years back. I love her dearly. She struggled with coming to grips with what she wanted and who she was deep down inside. Lots of people didn't want to know she was a lesbian. I can recall emails we shared where we talked about how some folks react when they find out loved ones are gay. She'd been in situations where she wasn't accepted. I assured her that even if I'm a handful of states away, I still love her and back her in whatever decision she makes. Her orientation doesn't bother me a bit. Thankfully for her, she's got the support of her family, like me, and a loving wife. Yep. She was lucky enough to find that one person to make her whole. I'm glad, too. They are a great couple.

If you know someone who is gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, queer, or even straight, give them a hug. Tell them you love them no matter what. You'll feel better for it and will make their day. I promise.

So what do you have to do? Open your mind. Grin. And if you want to be in the hat for a this case, it's a pdf of Under and Over It. (You can read more about the book here.) The pdf is available to all entrants, international or not. So what do you have to do? Leave your name, email and comment on your LBGTQ read. That's it!

I won't lie. I'd love for you to follow me on Facebook, follow my blog, and to follow me on Twitter, or you can sign up for my newsletter. Joining, friending, following isn't expected. Do that because you want to. It's not mandatory to win. The contest ends May 20th, so act now. I'll announce the winner right here on the blog on May 21st as well as I'll email the winner!

I'll bet, now that you've read the post and commented, you want to follow the rest of the tour? I thought you might. Grin. Here's the link to the rest of the Hop Against Homophobia. Thanks for stopping. Good luck!

WIP Thursday!

It's mildly humorous. Every week I write my WIP Thursday post (Well, I try to keep it to every week) where I mention what I'm in the midst of. So what's funny about a post? No matter how hard I try, it seems like the story I should be finishing isn't the one that wants to be finished. The one that just sort of popped up and is expecting to be written, usually takes precedence. Maybe it's the over zealousness of the characters, the ADHD my mother swears I don't have, or a lack of focus... I don't know. But it seems like some weeks I'm repeating myself, saying the same story is being worked on. It is. That's the killer of it. I write about 400 words on one and then, POOF, move on to something else. If it doesn't gel, I bail. Sad, really.

Here's the bullet list of what's in the works.

* Christmas with Glow story - It's a whole whopping 300 words done, but hey, you have to start somewhere.

* Tiger Lily, Michael, and John's story from Forever Wicked: Always. I'm working on the outline.

* Avery's story from Cock and Bull. He begged for the story, and went quite. Brat.

* New on the table: The werewolf story. Yep. You read that right. I never thought I'd write a were. Why? Just never came to me. Until Ansen. Yep. Showed me the beginning of the story and everything. If you liked the GLOW books, well, this spin off is for you. Grin.

Okay, time to get back to the characters. One of these days I'll get back to the guys from Permanent, too. One day.

Sinful Sirens and White Hot Summer!

Some of my favorite red hot reads with Sexy Men and Sinful Women? I've got a few suggestions for you. GRIN. Here's my top three reads for the summer and of course, one of mine! Now here's the cool part about this list, well, other than your TBR list will grow, you can win a copy of Fire Woman - the first book in my Glow Band Series - just for commenting on your favorite Summer Read! The pdf is available to all entrants, international or not. Leave your name, email and comment on your favorite summer read. That's it!

I won't lie. I'd love for you to follow me on Facebook, follow my blog, and to follow me on Twitter, but they aren't expected. Do that because you want to. It's not mandatory to win.

3. Damn Good Man - Michelle Witvliet

Widower Joel Hubbard isn't interested in his friends' attempts to fix him up. He's content with his quiet, structured life as a single dad until he wanders into Gwen Marconi's real estate office and discovers everything he never knew he was missing in his life. Gwen has a knack for attracting womanizers, losers and jerks. From what she can tell, Joel isn't any of those things. In fact, he's everything she ever wanted in a man and it starts her thinking she's finally found herself a keeper. Just when it looks like she's found a place of her own in his heart, she's forced to rethink their future together when a cruel stroke of fate brings her happiness crashing down. How can she put the man she loves through the same nightmare a second time?

I'm not one for reading an entire novel on the computer. This book changed that fact. I started it and couldn't put it down. The best part? The ending. Never saw it coming and yeah, it made me cry! Great!!!

2. Dead Sexy - Kimberly Raye

She was looking for long-term. She wasn't expecting eternity!

Just when Nikki Braxton has given up on finding a normal guy, she meets cowboy Jake McCann. Tall, dark and delicious, he could be the ideal man--if he wasn't a vampire. Well, at least that explains his...uh...hunger for her.

Meanwhile, that down-and-dirty sex they're having is giving him the energy he needs to destroy his nemesis and break the vampire curse. Good thing, because being with Nikki makes him long for a normal life that much more.

But then Nikki is abducted. If Jake saves her, he may lose his only shot at becoming human again. Talk about damned if you do...

The covers drew me in. The vampires kept me there. Great for a warm summer night!!

1. Regularly Scheduled Life - KA Mitchell

Sean and Kyle have enjoyed six perfect years of what their friends called a disgustingly happy relationship. But what happens one sunny morning might be more than even the most loving couple can survive. When the bell rings that morning in chemistry teacher Seans first-period class, a terrifying sound fills the hallsgunshots. Sean runs to tackle the shooter, sustaining a bullet wound to his leg. He is unable to save the lives of the principal and two students. Kyle hears about the shooting on the radio, and in the flash of an instant finds his life irrevocably altered. Everythingespecially his hearthangs suspended in a nightmare until he finds out Sean is alive. Kyles just relieved the worst is over. Or is it? Putting that day behind them isnt as simple as it sounds. As Sean struggles to make something positive out of the tragedy, Kyle fights to save their relationship from the dangers of publicityand Seans unwillingness to face how the crisis has changed him.

Loved this one because it's painful and real. The characters stayed with me far beyond the last page. I laughed, cried and wanted more. Great read!

My personal favorite red hot read?

The Air I Breathe
When Taygan walked, Luc thought he'd never see his best friend again. That's fine. Luc's busy with his band, Glow, and isn't really interested in having a love life. There's just one small glitch. He's lonely without Tay, and his pride can't take losing him again. It's up to Luc to decide, but can he live with his decision?

Taygan thought he could handle his element and have a permanent relationship with Luc -- until the need to follow the wind element took over. But being away from Luc is killing Tay's element. To make things worse, Luc's not waiting around for Tay any longer. What's a guy to do when his lover is the very air he breathes?

This one is near and dear to my heart because I love the characters. Tay and Luc put me through the emotional wringer in a good way. I hope they do for you, too.

Now if you want to follow the hop, here's the linky list. But don't forget to comment. Leave your name and email so I know how to get in touch with you! Enjoy!

Sunday Snog ~ Cock and Bull

Thought for the Sunday Snog I'd offer up a Kiss from Cock and Bull.

After two years as an exotic male dancer-slash-fetish entertainer, Flynn's ready for his last night at the Randy Stallion Men's Club to be over, but someone's got a surprise in store for him.

More than one someone.

Anything's possible in the club.

Cuffs? Flynn swallowed hard. Avery said playing along would be worth the hassle and on the level. So why the hell was he equal parts excited and scared? Flynn placed his hands behind his back and widened his stance.

Footsteps padded around him. Sizing him up? Flynn pressed his lips together and willed himself to stay calm. Soft fingers stroked his cheek, and the scent of woody cologne wrapped around him. Deryck.

“Yes, pet. I’m here.” Deryck’s breath skittered on Flynn’s skin in a cool kiss. “Last night, last time to make your kinky desires come true. Tomorrow night, you’re all mine.” He slapped Flynn’s ass. “I love your compliance. Tell me your safe word.”

“Very good.” Deryck rubbed his nose against Flynn’s and moved Flynn’s arms up. Something clinked again, freeing his wrist. Avery tugged Flynn’s arms over his head. “Love you. Now open up. Be a good boy.”

Flynn inched forward and yanked against his bindings, needing to kiss his lover. Instead, Deryck placed a ball gag on Flynn’s lips. “Indulge and then you’re mine. Bite.”

Keep Your Eyes Peeled for the Hop!

Because everyone is equal. Come on out for the hop!!

My Turn to Chime In...

I've been reading the posts on homophobia and the definition of marriage. While this is a tad early for the Hop Against Homophobia, I feel it has to be said.

I've always been told to love the person, not the action. I don't totally agree. Why? Saying homosexuality it a thing the person is being isn't fair. I fully believe homosexuality isn't a choice it's part of who the person is. So Loving the person is loving what they are.

I'm a girl and people don't not love me because of that. So love the person and who they are.

Now it's become quite popular to come out on either side of the marriage issue. I'm sadly going to jump on the bandwagon of coming out on a side, but not because it's popular. It's because its what I feel I need to do.

I have family members on both sides who are gay. One is a male couple and the other is a female couple. One couple is married and the other has been in a committed relationship longer than I've been married. Do they deserve the same rights as my DH and I?

No ifs, ands, or buts. They deserve the same rights as anyone else. I'm thrilled the individuals in both couples found that person to complete them. That's hard to find no matter what sex you are.

In the case of my cousin, she's not the most conventional looking person (Neither am I for that matter). Shaved head. Piercings. Doesn't her a bad person, just colorful. She found the one person to make her shine and so happy she could burst. That's huge. In the case of my other cousin, on DH's side, he's been with the same man for as long as I can remember. College sweethearts, I believe. Seeing them together is sticky sweet because what they have is real. I'm glad both couples are just that, couples.

As far as I'm concerned, if you can live together for years and call each other life partners no matter what the sex, then that should be it. The sex shouldn't matter--in terms of the people in the relationship. I don't believe man should marry goat. Mostly because that's gross. But man should be able to marry anyone he so chooses. Same thing for woman.

The president supports same sex marriage and frankly, so do I. I'm married and guess what? It's happy sometimes, rough others, and well if anyone wants to jump into that whirlwind... go for it. I support the right for two men, two women, a man and a woman, a woman who wants to be a man and a man, etc to marry and live their lives happily together.

Go for it. You have my blessing.

WIP Thursday!!

News of note: Cock and Bull releases today!!! I'm excited and a little scared. This is the most on the edge thing I've written and I'm skeered to see what the readers think. It's raunchy good fun. Let me know what you think, though.

Here's the blurb for Cock and Bull:

After two years as an exotic male dancer-slash-fetish entertainer, Flynn's ready for his last night at the Randy Stallion Men's Club to be over, but someone's got a surprise in store for him.

More than one someone.

Can Flynn handle the heat, or will it burn him alive? Anything is possible in the club.

Available here!!

In other news, I turned in another Razor's Edge story, this one entitled, Make Me. Husband, wife, bdsm good time. Raunchy, but with respect. Grin. Gotta have the respect.

Slash and Hiram's story has been turned in. It's all good and hopefully the cover art faery will stop by my house soon so I can show you the awesomeness. :-)

I'm halfway through the short story/free read that's going to Total-E-Bound for the July newsletter. Griffin and Tina from Permanent are getting their story. It's short and hot, but hey, sometimes short and hot is just what the doctor ordered.

Once I get that short done, I'll dive headlong into the Glow Kids book. Yep. The Glow Kids. It's for the Christmas Collection at Changeling Press. I'm excited. Pixie and Nitro have been a blast so far.

I've got a couple more ideas in my head, but I'd like to end the post before it turns into a novel on its own.

Men of May!!!

I'm taking part in the Men of May blog hop and I'm so excited. If you're like me, you love to look at a beautiful man. As for beautiful men, I thought I'd spotlight the superhero type. Plus, any reason to see Chris Evans in a tight uniform is reason enough for me.

He just epitomizes hot to me. What do you think?

Now clean the drool off the screen. Here's where you get the presents from this hop. All you have to do is comment--tell me who the person is you think epitomizes hot. Yep. Leave your name and email so I can get in touch with you on the 7th. That's easy, isn't it? Wait, now, what's up for grabs? A pdf of Forever Wicked: Always.

I won't lie. I'd love for you to follow me on Facebook, follow my blog, and to follow me on Twitter, but they aren't expected. Do that because you want to. It's not mandatory.

So comment and continue on the hop! Here's the links for the rest of the hop spots! You can go here, or the linkys below. Check them out!

Blisse Kiss Spring Fling ~ Down to Earth

Opposites attract? Are you kidding?

For Ike Clanton, having competition means winning. Best at the guitar, biggest ride, highest hair, most tattoos. Until he meets Tallulah. She's nothing like he wants, but she's everything she needs -- he just has to figure it out.

Tallulah never wanted to join Glow. She's there as a favor, and not to Ike. An Earth elemental and a rock star shouldn't mix, should they?

Add overzealous greenery and a heaping helping of ego to this mix and shake wildly. Maybe being down to earth isn't such a bad thing after all.

Here's the kiss!

“Call me totally crazy, but yeah, I’m expecting a lot from a woman I barely know.”

“Then why? If you don’t know her? What if she’s nothing like the woman you’ve conjured in your head? People are two-faced all the time.”

“Because real is so much better than a fantasy.” He spread his fingers across her thigh and gave it a slight squeeze. “Lulah, it took me a little bit to realize the girl from the concert was you. You have a little more hair, and you don’t have nearly as much makeup, but your eyes gave you away. I just want to see you smile and look at me like I’m not an asshole, but a guy you want to be with. I’m sorry I acted like a jerk. It tends to happen when I feel blindsided and manage to do something really stupid.”

Wow. She sank back in her seat. The guy who was only hours earlier a complete dick was actually the sexy guy with the guitar she remembered. His touch seared her skin. She shifted her thighs together. If she wasn’t careful, just being turned on would send the plants into the room into hyper growth.

Ike’s lips curled into a soft smile that made it to his eyes. God, she wanted him. Wanted to be the woman in his life and to truly believe she was the woman he’d written the song for.

Her chest heaved. Damn, he made it hard to breathe. “Ike?”

“That’s my name, Lulah.” He inched toward her. “I wanted a chance to show you I wasn’t some sex-crazed rock star with a chip on my shoulder. That night was a blur, but I never forgot your smile or the glitter in your eyes and the way you felt so right in my arms. The words for “Longing” were and are the best way I could think of to tell you I wanted more.” He rose up between her knees and cupped her jaw in both hands. “I didn’t get the chance to taste you then. I’m not losing the chance now.”

He swallowed her gasp as his lips feathered over hers. Tallulah fisted her hands at her sides. If she didn’t touch him, then maybe the kiss wouldn’t imprint itself on her brain. Too late. His touch trickled down along the column of her throat. Every nerve ending sizzled. She swiped her tongue over his bottom lip. Remnants of the sauce lingered and sweetened the kiss. She whimpered and pressed her hands against his chest. Solid muscle rippled under her touch. Goddess, this was the man she’d wanted, the man she begged for. Her counterpart. The energy of her element vibrated. He was hers.

I also turned in my latest installment to the Glow Series. Here's the official poster I created. They want it for concert shirts, too. I'm stoked.

Hiram and Slash finally finished telling me their story. I loved writing them and am a little sad that the series is coming to an end. I mean, they are like family. With crazy stalkers. Shrug. If you can't stand the heat, don't Glow!

I turned in another Razor's Edge story. This one involves pearls, a crop and some commanding. Tentatively titled Make Me, we'll see if it makes the cut.

The characters from the Christmas story have started talking. Pixie and Nitro. Yeah, I had no idea that would be their names, either. Something about a ticket, a present that's unexpected, and a crop that's not for reindeer. Let's just say, I'm figuring it out.

I'm also toying with a follow up to Under and Over It. I got comments that the story line seemed rushed at the end. Maybe. But the boys are also chattering, so I'll listen. Not sure what they'll say, but I'm listening.

Last but not least--since it's got to be turned in the fastest--I'm working on a short story for TEB for a free read. :-) I still have NO BLOODY IDEA what it's going to be. Sigh. Muse? Oh, Muse? Where are You?
