Love Is All Around Us!!

I thought I'd include a bit of my favorite romantic prose as my offering for the hop. Actually it's not that romantic, but it's from one of my favorite romantic movies and I love this line from the movie, The Goodbye Girl.

Paula McFadden: I thought you said you were decent.
Elliot Garfield: I am decent. I also happen to be naked.

Now its your turn. What do you have to do? Follow the blog and leave a comment with your favorite line from a romantic movie! Campy, sappy, it doesn't matter. What's up for grabs? A copy of any ONE book from my backlist!

THE FINE PRINT: But you have to follow the directions to get your name in the hat. Those failing to add all the pertinent info won't be included in the drawing. The Winner will be drawn and posted on the blog on Feb 14th as well as emailed.

Now follow, comment, and go forth on the hop!

I had to google this couldn't remember the whole thing :) It long! Gone with the wind Rhett is talking to Scarlett!
*Rhett Butler: I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'll never understand or forgive myself. And if a bullet gets me, so help me, I'll laugh at myself for being an idiot. There's one thing I do know... and that is that I love you, Scarlett. In spite of you and me and the whole silly world going to pieces around us, I love you. Because we're alike. Bad lots, both of us. Selfish and shrewd. But able to look things in the eyes as we call them by their right names.

Thanks for the chance to win!

It's trite but memorable: "You had me at hello." by Renee Zellweger in Jerry Maguire.

I don't remember the exact quote, but I love in Pride and Prejudice where Darcy tells Elizabeth 'how much I ardently love you'.

Thanks for participating in the hop and for the giveaway opportunity.

Ok, this isn't a line. But for me, it's definitely Richard Gere, climbing up the fire escape in pretty woman. Sigh.....

Wow..that is a tough one..does the ending to Bridget Jones count when she looks at Darcy and says "nice boys dont kiss like that...."
actually, it would be when darcy tell bridget he likes just as she like she is..

I love The Note book.

The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. That's what I hope to give you forever. ~Noah~

The one that popped into my head first was "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" from Dirty Dancing.

I don't know the exact line but it is something like... "when did you fall in love with my brother and I said while you were sleeping." from the moving While You Were Sleeping.

When Harry Met Sally

I love that after I spend day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it’s not because I’m lonely, and it’s not because it’s New Year’s Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

I can't remember the exact wording, but... Oh heck, I had to look it up. Here it is, from True Blood. Thanks for the contest!

Sookie: You're not going to distract me by talking nasty
Eric: I already have. So are you going to invite me in?
